Before the arrival of the Euopeans, the First Nations people lived in they lived in harmony with the land. And were free to have their own cultures.
They hunted for their food with wepons they made,b and they used every part of the animal, being sure not to let anything go to waste
They lived in huts or tipi's depending on their geographical location, and if they farmed or not.
The Europeans forced the First Nations to live in wood houses, and to wear the clothing they deemed acceptable
When the Europeans came, they forced First Nations off of their land in order to colonize the land for Europeans, and allow them to build trains and take the land for granted
The Europeans also forced the First Nations to go to church, and they forced their children into Residential Schools.
