The Eagles had made it to the most important game of the season the finals. The Eagles had practiced every chance they could and put in lots of work.
One the team got out of the bus in the gym they saw the brightest, shiniest gold trophy they’ve ever seen.
The only issue was the other team was way taller than all of them Before the tip-off they did the national anthem with the American flag hung high. The tip-off started and the crowd went wild.
At half-time the score was tied 55-55. The teams were very tired as well but they didn’t give up. Luke took a sip out of his green plastic water bottle and went in.
The third quarter was more intense than any other. It was back and forth the whole time.
It was the fourth quarter, the score was tied. 5..4..3..2..1 Luke put up the shot, GAME!
