The Boston Massacre
HEY YOU STOP IT!
The Quartering Act made it so that if any British soldiers needed a place to sleep and food they could go into citizens' home and the citizen would have to give the soldiers a bed and food. Also, the citizen wouldn't get paid for quartering the soldier.
The Boston Tea Party
This is what you get Britain!
The Stamp Act made it so that the colonists had to pay a tax on any printed papers, including playing cards and regular paper. The stamp and the colonists furious, later the Stamp Act was canceled.
The Intolerable Acts
The Boston Massacre was where colonists were throwing snowballs at the soldiers because of the laws they enforced on the colonists. The soldiers got mad so they shot five young men that rebelled against Britain.
The Boston Tea Party was started because the people didn't like the laws Britain enforced on the people so they dumped 90,000 pounds worth of tea into the water. They also rebelled because of the Boston Massacre.
After the Boston Tea Party the British thought the colonists were lawless troublemakers so they made very harsh laws against the people. For example, trade ships were not allowed to enter the harbor until the colonists paid for the lost tea.
