#### Storyboard Text

• I'm 17km from home lets see how long it takes me go get home
• This football stadium is farther then I thought from home
• I have been driving for 15 minutes and I am 8 km from home
• I have driven 11km in 10 minutes
• Well I still have some time till I get home so lets try and do some math
• In 20 minutes what will my distance be from home. I will be 5km from home. What about 20 and 25 minutes. Well thats a lot of math I have to do more thinking on that
•  I had to find the x and y intercept. The y-intercept represents the distance I traveled and the x-intercept represents how many minutes I have been driving
• Well I learned a little bit more math on my way home from a good football game. I guess that term you learn something new everyday really is true.
• So when I left the game I was 17km from home, after driving 11km I had been driving for 10 minutes, then 8km for 15 minutes. So I know right then (11-8 ) is 3 and (15-10) is 5. So for every 3km I have gone I have been driving for 5 minutes. So if I'm 25 minutes away from home I can just subtract from when I was 20 minutes. SO at 20 minutes I was 5km from home now I do (5-3)=2 so I am 2 km from home. So if I'm 30 minutes from home I would be home because 2-3 is -1 so that mean i would be home
