  • Soldiers can't live or sleep in a house without the consent of the owner.

  • The right to let police search your things if they think that you might have something dangerous.

  • The britich used the guns that they had to make sure that their slaves would not run away and so they could protect them selves if someone tried to hurt them. 
  • Before the Revolution, the British pressured colonists to shelter and feed British soldiers. British leaders also forced colonists to submit to having their property searched for illegal goods.
