DT Homework Litter Picker Storyboard
This storyboard does not have a description.
Step 1. Measure your BDMS bar and mark 15mm from one end using a scribe. After that measure 20mm from the marked end and make another mark.
Step 2. Use a centre punch to make an indentation on the BDMS bar, allowing you to drill a 4mm clearance hole on the BDMS bar using a pillar drill.
Step 3. Countersink both the holes you have made on your BDMS bar.
Step 4. Place your BDMS bar in an engineer's vice with the holes you have countersunk facing towards you. Apply pressure on your BDMS bar to bend it at roughly 30 degrees.
Step 5. Use your bent BDMS bar as a template to draw a matching 30 degree angle on your wooden shaft so you can sand it and make the end of the shaft the exact same shape as your bar so it can fit on perfectly.
Step 6. Attach your BDMS bar to the lower end of your wooden shaft using a screwdriver
