Right after they found out gina was going to be "mentally challenged" officials told the parents to look for institutions to send their child. As a teacher I would stand out for the parent and their decision any way they need me to.
During the tour, they told the parents gina would not be able to join the classroom the mother wanted her to go in . As a teacher I would stand up and voice for this mother and other mothers and children because no student should be excluded. They should all have an equal opportunity.
Teacher can advocate and be the voice for the students needs in settings during IEP meetings. All students need to get what they deserve.
After 21 parents have to decide what the children has to do in the next chapter in their life. As a teacher I will be the voice and be there for the student as well as the parent in the next chapters of their life with whatever they need.
