Production: Seed DrillBy: Nikitia Leon
Before the seed drill was invented, farmers used many farming methods. One method was the broadcasting method where you throw the seeds onto the ground by hand and to wait to see if any seeds spouted.
Broadcasting gives a lower success rate making us have little harvest. Scatter the seeds everywhere and allowing birds to eat our seeds was not a great idea.
Jethro Tull was an Englishman who brought the rise of the British Agricultural Revolution in 1701. Jethro wasn’t recognized for inventing the seed drill till after his death in 1742.
The seed drill is drawn by a horse while shooting seeds into the ground by cutting small holes in the soil, sowing seeds in a neatly organized rows.
•Without the seed of knowledge we wouldn’t bloom into the people we are today.
We have large harvests forever.
