  • June 25, 1950 North Korea Invades South Korea
  • September 15, 1950 Victory at Inchon
  • October 20, 1950 China joins war and pushes back UN forces
  • On June 25, 1950 75,000 soldiers crossed the 38th parallel over into South Korea.
  • Feb. 1951 Peace Talks Begin
  • In this battle the US came out victorious. 
  • April 1951 MacArthur Fired For Wanting To Use A-Bomb
  • China came to North Korea's defense and pushed back the UN forces that were helping South Korean soldiers.
  • July 7, 1953 Truce Signed
  • Peace talks begin between the 2 countries. 
  • MacArthur brought up the idea of using the Atomic Bomb, but he was soon fired from his position for bringing up the idea.
  • What if we used the Atomic Bomb?
  • The truce was signed, but today the war is still occuring. Both sides are at a stalemate.
