  • Siddhartha the prince was born. A fortuneteller came to tell fortune of the young boy. The fortuneteller said that the boy could be a great king or a religious
  • YOU ATE SO WE'RE KICKING YOU OUT!
  • OK!
  • The king wanted his son to follow in his footsteps and made sure je was protected. Every time Sidd. came out of the palace guards went ahead to tell the unhealthy and the non-wealthy to get out of the way. So they did every time Sidd. went out.
  • I need to find the truth.
  • One day Sidd. went out alone and he saw not good things. He saw a sick man, an unwealthy a man who had died and a religious man. So Sidd. decided thathe wanted to help all the people.
  • NO!
  • Sidd. traded his clothes. Then he became an Ascetic and ate very little food. Then he betrayed the Ascetics and tried to find the truth again.
  • Uhg! I still haven't found the truth!
  • Sidd. came to a fig tree and sat under it for a long time. Finally he understood the truth about the cycle of life. So Sidd. became the Buddha and wanted to teach other people the truth.
  • The Buddha went back to the to a town. Then he started preaching to the people. Then the people started asking questions about the Buddha's story then the Buddha created a new religion.
