Chemical Reactions (part 2)

Storyboard Text

  • Time later, C entered to the dance floor and invited A to dance while B was left alone. This will make a single-replacement/single-displacement happen.
  • C
  • Want to dance?
  • A
  • Yes!
  • B
  • Single-replacement is a reaction in which one element replaces a similar element in a compound. In this case, AB couple broke down and A replaced B with C. B was sad as he stayed alone.
  • C
  • AC couple!

  • D came to the dance floor and saw B crying, she went to talk to him and make B smile again. A noticed that B was sad, and she told C to wait for her a while.

  • A told B that they were still a couple but that she was dancing with C for a while. B told A that it was okay, and he went to dance with D.

  • Both couples made a double-replacement, this is a reaction in which the positive and negative ions of two ionic compounds change places to form two new compounds. In this case AB + CD changed into AC + BD.

  • At the end AC and BD danced happily during all the night, of course they changed partners again and again to have more fun. THE END!
