This storyboard does not have a description.
Hey little lady, wanna try a cigarette?
In this scene, Sarah is using passive communication to try and tell Mike and Kat that she does not want a cigarette.
Um...No thank you...I don´t think I should. I'm running late for work.
This does not work and Mike and Kat follow her to the convenient store.
Hey! Don't talk to my dad that way, you snob!
In this scene, Sarah tried aggressive communication to try and tell Mike and Kat no.
Hey! Why are you following me?? I told you no!
In this scene, Sarah uses assertive communication. This works well and Mike and Kat understand.
Look I'm sorry. But my mom has always told me to not use cigarettes, because if you don't then you will less likely get cancer, your mouth is healthier, you will be happier, you will make better life choices, and you will save a lot of money on tobacco products. So thank you but no.
Sarah has demonstrated five ways of dealing with peer pressure- A simple no, tell it like it is, walk away, give an excuse, and avoid the situation.
Bye, you too.
Bye, have a nice day.
