  • Exposition It takes time to become good friends
  • ¨Stanley didnt have any friends at home¨ (pg. 7).
  • Rising Action It takes time to become good friends.
  • ¨This is really crazy, he thought to himself. Whatever he did, he told himself. It´s to late, he thought, Zero couldn´t have survived. But what if it wasn't too late"(pg. 147). 
  • Climax It takes time to become good friends.
  • ¨Stanley took hold of Zero´s forearms and pulled him upright. Then he stooped down and let Zero fall over his right shoulder. He stood up lifting Zero´s worn-out body of the ground¨(pg.170).
  • This evidence is relevant to the theme because back at home,  Stanley was always made fun of  and didn't  have any  friends. At Camp Green  Lake, he got close to Zero and they eventually became very good friends.

  • This evidence is relevant to the theme because  he didn't want him and Zero to get hurt. This shows   that he really cares  about   Zero.
  • This evidence is relevant to the theme because when Stanley and Zero were at Camp Green Lake, they formed a strong bond and Stanley wanted Zero to go with him so that they could continue that bond.
