  • King Edward III was famous for his military success in The Hundred Years' War as he transformed the Kingdom of England into one of the most intimidating military powers in Medieval Europe. He started the Hundred Years' War which was a war he won against France to claim the heir. He was also known for restoring royal authority in England after his father's (Edward II) disastrous and radical reign.
  • Cell 5: King Edward III Lesson For Our World. 10/13/2020
  • He was famous for starting the Hundred Years' War.
  • If King Edward III never lived then England at that time would be in a state of political corruption as his father (Edward II) was the ruler before him and during his rule it was known that government politicians were corrupting the system because of his father's radical reign. Also I think that the Hundred Years' War against France would not have occurred if King Edward III had not lived as he felt that he was the rightful owner of the French heir (grandson).
  • Cell 6: King Edward III Lesson for My Life. 10/14/2020
  • Wow interesting!
  • Who was King Edward III?
  • Today class we will be learning about King Edward III.
  • The reason as to why King Edward III chose to act was because he relied on the purposes of war, administration and politics. His father (Edward II) had regularly been in conflict with a great part of his class politically, while King Edward III created a special sprit of comradeship between him and his greatest political allies.
  • King Edward III's legacy is important in today's world because of his military success as he transformed the Kingdom of England into one of the most powerful military powers at that time. We learn how he rebuilt England into a strong nation which is important in today's world as many nations are divided based on political thoughts . The world can also learn from some of his mistakes such as how he started the Hundred Years' War and to not let history repeat itself again in Europe.
  • She was the wife of King Edward III.
  • King Edward III was a famous king noted for his military success in the Hundred Years' War and how he helped England rise to power again after his father's radical reign. What I can learn from King Edward III is his military success, the losses he had during the Black Death, his political success, how he helped England rise to the top again during medieval times, and what mistakes he made that I can learn from such as how not to start wars against other nations for the sake of all mankind.
  • So cool!
