  • The Great depression affected Europe because Americans quit spending there money on European hotels, foods, and goods.
  • Adolf Hitler
  • Germany was poor because Germany had to pay France and England huge amounts of money because Germany started the fight of World War 1.
  • Party time
  • Two ways Germany became poorer after the stock market crash was that people were losing their jobs, business had to close, and the price of food rose higher and higher. A housewife needed an entire wheelbarrow full of cash to buy a loaf of bread.
  • Hitler promised
  • We need war!!!
  • Adolf Hitler thought that Germany should spread its culture across other countries because he believed that Germany was the strongest, worthiest, most beautiful country in the world.
  • The National Socialist German Workers believed that the poor and working people should have a say in how the country was run.  They also believed that they needed a strong leader to make Germany great.
  • Hitler promised the German people that he would bring order, wealth and greatness to Germany.  He would cancel the peace and free Germany from its war debt; he would get rid of the Jews.
