  • The Triangle Trade was when America, Europe, and Africa made a trading system to make transporting goods easier. Goods like tobacco, cotton, and sugar were transported from Europe to North America. Other goods like rum and other manufactored items were transported from Europe to Africa. When a lot of Native Americans died because of the diseases Europeans brought with them, the Europeans had to find other people to use as slaves. They decided to use Africans because they were the only people who didn't have weapons like guns and gunpowder back then. That was when Africans became slaves and the Triangle trade started.
