Storyboard Text

  •                       Exposition 
  • Conflict 
  • Rising Action 
  • Once upon a time there was a king that had a daughter. The king loved gold more than anything else in the world, he cherished his crown because it was made of gold.
  • Climax 
  • The king wanted so much gold and wanted to have all the gold to himself. He felt that if he had more gold he would be happier. He wishes that he could have a treasure room that's filled with all the yellow metal in the world. 
  • Falling Action 
  • The king is visited by a stranger while he is in his treasure room. The stranger is very bright and his smile lit up the whole room. The stranger told the king he could have one thing he wished for and the king wished that everything he touched would turn into gold. 
  • Resolution
  • The king goes to sleep that night hoping that in the morning he will be able to turn everything into gold. He wakes up and everything he touches turns into gold. He gets carried away and touches everything including his daughter but he then realizes that it's a curse.
  • The king is so sad about turning his daughter into gold and he realizes the golden touch is not a good thing. He wants to change her back but he doesn't know how.Then the stranger appears and tells him that he needs to go to the river closest to his castle and pour the water on everything he wants back to normal.
  • The king went to the river close by and collected water and dumped it on everything that he wanted to be normal again. His daughter was now real again and she wasn't gold anymore.  The king was happy and so was the daughter, they both lived happy lives and the king realized he didn't need gold to be happy
