  • The tone in this poem is alarming.  This is the tone because they talk about very violent and scary.  Edgar Alan Poe uses great words to help us picture the tone in our head.

  • Edgar Alan Poe uses great word choices to help picture the story in our heads.  For example, instead of saying super nervous he says dreadfully nervous.
  • T- Theme
  • Ok... I confess I did it.
  • His remainings are right here.
  • Edgar Alan Poe uses great word imagery to help us to understand what is going on.  It says, "He had an eye of a vulture --a pale blue eye."
  • The author uses this type of writing to make the theme scary.  He uses different words to make the poem sound treacherous.
