  • Have you ever heard the phrase, Live, Laugh, Love. This is an example referencing total wellness of your mind, soul, and body. Overall the different types of wellness are social wellness, physical wellness, and mental and emotional wellness. Characteristics of social wellness are taking responsibility for your actions, not judging others, and taking time for self care.
  • Mental and emotional wellness is the factor for how you feel and often explains how impulsive decisions/actions are made. Practice understanding your emotions to further assist you in aiding to your friend's issues.
  • The three stages of stress are the stages of resistance, alarm, and exhaustion. Notice your bodys habitual patterns when you experience certain emotions. Remember to cleanse your body by staying hydrated and eating nutritious foods.

  • Nutritious foods and their benefits:Bananas-good source of potassium, improves blood sugar levels
  • What is physical wellness? Physical wellness is how you take care of your body. Some example of your physical wellness is how much nutrition you intake, how often you participate in physical activity, and how you control your hygiene.
  • 5 health related components: Body composition, flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance and cardiorespiratory endurance. Set goals: What do you enjoy doing most? What do you want to achieve? I want to become a lawyer by 24 years old. To conclude, I can achieve this goal by practicing mental and emotional wellness and make specificities. I will become a lawyer by 24 years old by getting at least an A or B in every class I take so that I can get into a good law school by 2025.

  • How do you get physical?The first step to selecting physical activities is to discover your passions. Do you enjoy running? Maybe track and field or cross country is a good option for you. I love swimming and tennis. Tennis helps me relieve stress, especially hitting the ball aggressively.Also take in consideration weather conditions. Participating in vigorous activites in hot weather may cause heatstroke or heat exhausation. Signs: Dizziness, headache, iritability , rapid pulse rate
  • Both physical activity and nutrition are crucial to the development of a healthy being.
  • To be obese is to be morbidly overweight. Excessive body fat can lead to high blood pressure or diabetes. Avoid high sugared foods such as sodas or red meats. Foods to include in your everyday diet are whole grains and eggs. Caloric balance is how many calories you consume versus burn. To maintain weight, burn an equal number of calories as to how much you eat.

  • Preventing Injuries: When doing strenuous activities, it is important to stretch and prepare your body for physical activity. Remember to eat a diet consisted of proteins , carbs, and leafy greens. In addition, consistently hydrate your body throughout the day. It is easy to become dehydrated especially in heated areas while doing physical activity
  • What are the benefits of getting healthy and physical? Well, its in the words. By doing cardio such as swimming and high intensity fitness such as H.I.T.T, you can not only lose body fat but also inadvertly affect appetite. Doing a lot of physical activity can cause your body to crave protein.
