- Hi my name is Robert hook and i discovered cork cells I look at them with my compound microscope.

- Hi my name is Theodor Schwann a (German zoologist). I studied animal cells, stated that cells were the building blocks of all living things (plants and animals). I use my compound microscope.

- Hi my name Rudolph Virchow a (German Scientist) Looked at all the other scientists work and performed experiments. Proved that cells only come from other cells these shapes are cells.

- Technology improves and so does they type of microscopes. The magnification gets greater.
