Newtons 3rd Law states that for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction. The action is hitting the volleyball and the opposite reaction is the ball hitting the hand. You can feel the force of the ball on your hand.
Newtons second law states that force equals mass times acceleration. When the woman is pushing the cart, how much force she puts into pushing it depends on how heavy it is. If the cart was heavy, she would have to put in a lot of muscle when pushing it. If the cart was light, it would take as much force.
Newtons 1st Law states that an object in motion will stay in motion and an object at rest will stay at rest (at a constant speed). When a car is going 25 mph it's going to stay at 25 mph unless the driver hits the breaks. Once the car is stopped it's going to stay stopped unless the driver hits the gas.
