- Max Planck was born in Germany on April 23 1858 to a large family . As a young boy Planck studied at maxamillians gymnasium school where he was taken under the wing of a mathematician. this mathematician taught max astronomy aswell ass mechanics.

- planck who graduated early from highschool at the age of 17 then choose to study physics despite his love for music. As he studied underphysicistsHermann von HelmholtzandGustav Kirchhoffand mathematicianKarl Weierstrass. After passing his exams he then received hi s doctorate and habilitation.

- Planck started a family of his own with his wife. He became a professor at Berlin University and won may awards including a Nobel peace prize in physics.
- Planck originates the quantum theory which explains the nature and behaviour of matter and energy on the atomic level . his studies in thermodynamics helped his develop his theory .This is also a large part of the atomic theory. Planck also worked on Black Body radiation which also contributed in the quantum theory.
