  •  Due to the sugar act we force you guys to import sugar and molasses exclusively from us, and you have to pay for them.
  • That will be 40 pence please.
  • -Constructed by the French in 1754 at the  heart of the Ohio River Valley, Fort Duquesene was an important role in the Seven Years' War. -Because of its strategic location on the land where the Allegheny Monongahela Rivers meet

  • - On September, 13, 1759, general Wolf and his army went to attack for the final time: Ile de Orleans. - Wolf took his army in the middle of the night in small boats to go on top of the cliffs. - The battle happened on a field that was owned by a man named Abraham this is why the battle is called the battle of the plains of Abraham.
  • BOSTON MASSACRE:
  • In 1764 the British introduced the sugar act forcing the colonists to import sugar and molasses exclusively from the British, and to pay duties on them.
  • Boston Tea Party
  • -In 1765 the British introduced the stamp act on the american colonies. -The British taxed any product that had a stamp on it an act of the British Parliament in 1765 that exacted revenue from the American colonies by imposing a stamp duty on newspapers and legal and commercial documents.
  • Why did you stamp it ?
  • -On March 5,1770 evening between patriots and British soldiers, started as a small argument, turned to massacre. -The patriots {frustrated}threw snowballs, stones and sticks at the soldiers . -Over 50 colonists arrived the British captain sent troops to maintain order - 5 patriots dead 3 got injured.
  • -Since they did not want to be taxed on tea they avoided tax collectors. -The British carried 500,00 pounds of tea from the East India company to Boston, New York. -Sons of Liberty dressed up as Native Americans, ran to the ships filled with tea. Tipped 342 crates of tea into Boston Harbor.
