  • Did you see that kid that was running by our bus stop.
  • Hoot, by Carl Hiaasen, is about a kid named Roy. Roy can either help this "crimanal" and save these owls or he can just try to live a normal life. Mullet fingers mom kicked him out of there house to go to military school but he ran away and is trying to save those owls.
  • Climax
  • Roy just moved to Coconut Cove and people are giving him a hard time. He saw this kid running by the bus stop and he didn't know where he was going. Dana which is the bully on the bus and tried to choke Roy.
  • Falling action
  • He is kind of course because he thinks she knows something. He wants to know who the running boy is.  He wants to know were he lives or where he stays at night. 
  • Resolution
  •  The climax is when the running boy ties Roy to a tree. Then he puts a bag around his head. The running boy tells Roy to count to 20 and then take off the bag. When Roy takes the bag off his head he is long gone.
  • The pancake house people are going to start bulldozing the property.Mullet fingers needs to stop them from killing the owls.Roy is going to help him stop the workers from killing the owls.  
  • Mullet fingers got himself stuck in a owl hole so they cant bulldoze the area. When Mullet fingers was in the hole an owl landed on his head. Everyone new that owls lived in those dens know so they had to cancel the pancake house.The owls got to live another day.
