There is just so much heat radiating of those flames, I need to get out of here.
That cave was crazy, I have no idea what was happening in there. I was gonna make a grilled cheese before I left and I don't remember if I turned the stove on... OW MOST DEFIANTLY ON!
Maybe I should just go swimming to burn (no pun intended) off some stress.
Radiation is a type of heat transfer that does not require contact to transfer.
The water is colder the farther down I go in the water, maybe it has something to do with currents.
Conduction is a type of heat transfer that is transferred through direct contact.
Ah that was a good swim, the roads warm, I wonder is the sun causing this?
Man the atmosphere out here is so nice today, I wonder what causes this?
This is an example of convection, as the hot water rise the cold water sinks.
The road top is an example of conduction and radiation, the electromagnetic waves hit the road and warm it and when someone steps on the road it warms their foot.
The Earths atmosphere is another example of convection, while the hot air rises the cold air sinks.
