  • Rising Action
  • The next day Rose decided not to sit by Dan and Phil. Instead, she decides to sit with her other friends. Dan and Phil assume Rose is trying to be mean. Dan and Phil get really upset and they complain to Rose and tell her that she is not smart and should be held back in class.
  • Climax
  • Rose feels that Dan and Phil are right. Rose starts getting depressed because she feels that she did something wrong. Rose is feeling sick at heart.
  • Falling Action/Resolution
  • Rose gets angry and decides to tell her mom about the situation. She makes sure she did nothing wrong and decides that she would. She does just that.
  • Rose's mom doesn't believe that these two "kind boys" would do such an inhuman thing. She decides that she should question the boys and tells rose to do that. Rose tells her mom that "I'm not going to do that" and her mom insists.
  • Rose eventually goes to Dan and Phil and asks why they are hurting her feeling. Rose finds out that Dan and Phil were only getting mad because she wouldn't sit with them at lunch. Rose eventually decides to apologize to Dan and Phil. Dan and Phil told Rose that they made a mistake and they agree to become friends again. Friends should not be enemies, they should be friends.
