There was a large woman with a large purse walking down the street at about 11:00pm. She was walking alone until a boy sneakily ran up behind her.
The boy tried to snatch her purse fast and hard. But the strap broke instantly with the tug of the boy. The boy's weight and the weight of the purse combined, causing the boy to lose his balance.
The large woman simply turned around and kicked him right in his blue-jeaned sitter. She then reached down, picked the boy up, and forcing him to grab her purse. She then brought him home to take care of him.
She asked for his name and said "Roger." She then told him her name, "Mrs. Jones." Mrs. Jones asked the boy if he was hungry, and told him to wash his face. The boy had the chance to run, but he then decided that he had already made enough trouble.
While Mrs. Jones was cooking food, Roger decided to sit somewhere where Mrs. Jones could see him. He did not want to lose her trust, and he did not want to be mistrusted now. A few minutes later, Mrs. Jones came back with the food and they ate.
After eating, Mrs. Jones handed Roger $10.00 and told him to go buy himself a pair of blue suede shoes. She also then said to stay out of trouble, then closed her door. Roger didn't know what to say- no "thank you" came out of this mouth. He was surprised.
