That was an offer I could not resist! It needed a photo of my social security and drivers license! So I'm about to go mail it! I hope I get the $200,000,000 I was promised!
That offer from Scammers of America really got me! In my bank account I realized thousands of dollars being used, and mail from other states I've never been to! I think my identity is getting stolen! I should've never sent my personal information out!
Looks like I need to call the three credit agencies- Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union. I'm also calling my insurance so I can get 50% of my money back! Oh, and also my bank to report fraud.
How To Avoid Identity Theft: 101
Thank you for meeting with me Karen! As your banker I thought I'd tell you some facts about how to avoid identity theft. Step 1.: Never give out your social security, driver's license, or credit cards unless necessary. Step 2. If it does happen call the 3 reporting agencies, which you did. Step 3. Report fraud on your credit cards so they cannot spend anymore! Be careful because your credit card history can get ruined if you don't act fast!
