  • The Quartering Act 1765
  • These colonists are like our servants.
  • Yes they are but we have to keep an eye on them.
  • The Stamp Act Congress 1765
  • We are being taxed for everything made from paper.
  • Like paper, Newspaper, playing cards and anything else.
  • No taxation without representation
  • ITS NOT FAIR!
  • Boston Massacre 1770
  • Its not fair that we cant buy tea from other companies.
  • The quartering act required colonists to house British soldiers when asked.
  • Boston Tea Party 1773
  • The Stamp act congress was a group of colony leaders who joined together to protest againsed the stamp act.
  • Lexington & Concord 1775
  • Attack!
  • Colonists were protesting and British soldiers fired shots.
  • Second Continental Congress 1775
  • And George Washington will lead the army.
  • If the king doesn't accept the petition we will prepare for war
  • The British lowered the price of tea but can only buy tea from certain places. 
  • Lets throw the chests of tea overboard
  • Colonists stood in Lexington to fight because the British kept sending soldiers. The Colonists won.
  • During the second continental congress the colonists created the Olive Branch Petition which meant peace.
