  • The 3 witches predict Macbeth’s future of being king. Macbeth demands to know more but the witches disappear. “Fair is foul, and foul is fair. Let’s fly away through the filthy air.”
  • Act 3
  • Lady Macbeth and Macbeth have planned to kill Duncan and have carried there plan out. “I’m going now. The murder is as good as done.”
  • Act 5
  • Macbeth hires murderers to kill Banquo and Fleance. Banquo is slain but Fleance survives and escapes. “Oh, this treachery! Get out of here, good Fleance, run, run, run! Someday you can get revenge.
  • Act 5
  • Macbeth hosts a dinner party for many people when he sees Banquo’s ghost and is discouraged. “Go! And get out of my sight! Stay in your grave.”
  • Macbeth is brought news that Birnam wood is moving. “There are ten thousand- Soldiers, sir. The English army, sir.”
  • Macbeth is beheaded and Malcolm becomes the rightful king. “Hail, king! Because that’s what you are now. Look, here I have Macbeth’s cursed head.”
