Pano's school, International Millennium School, decided to take all 150 students from Grade 4 to the Discovery Science Museum. Teacher decided to divide the students into groups of 5 students each with 2 chaperones for each group.

• Pano's school decided to take 150 students from Gr 4 to the Discovery Science Museum
• Hi my name is Pano. Today we Grade 4 are very excited about our field trip.
• We have 150 students which we will divide into groups consisting of 5 students each.
• Teacher asks her smartest student Pano to help her divide the students. Lets see how they go about with the division
• 150 divided by 5 will be 30
• Well done Pano! When we divide 150 students with 5 students for each group, we get 30 groups.
• Teacher is very impressed with Pano's answer. She gives him another puzzle. Let see if Pano can conclude with the right answer and finally go to the museum.
• We can multiply the number of chaperones which is 2 by the no of groups which is 30 to give us the total number of chaperones required
• Pano, for each group we need atleast 2 chaperone. Can you guess how Many chaperons are needed for 30 groups
• Teacher decides to divide the students into groups of 5 students each.
• Teacher asks Pano how many groups they will have if they divide 150 students with 5 students in each group. Pano thinks a while and then does his calculation.
• 30 groups are a lot for 1 teacher to handle. So teacher suggests there be 2 chaperones for each of these 30 groups.
