The referee came and talked to the red team's coach. He looked scared and immediately called his team over for a huddle. When the game started back up, they had stopped with their sabotaging antics.
Sir, please stop encouraging your team's behavior. Intentionally creating distractions is prohibited and extremely childish. If your team doesn't stop, they will be disqualified.
I'm so sorry ma'am, won't happen again.
My team was up and running again, with full energy and determined to win back our stolen points.
I GOT IT!
Everyone was ecstatic about our comeback. Well, everyone except the red team. Our teams both shook hands and said good game as we always do, and no, none of us were being fake to the other team. Then we celebrated.
GOOD GAME, Y'ALL!
.... UM.... YEAH
Their negativity didn't bother me one bit. It was raining out in the parking lot, and I was taking my time, happily skipping around.
It was only in the car that I realized I'd forgotten something during my euphoric state of mind.
Hmm... I never shoved our win in their face... Dang it, why'd I forget? Oh well, they're sad enough as it is, maybe next time?
