- At the age of seven, that boy from Guadalajara, the youngestof eight siblings, found a solution for the darkness that occupied his housesome afternoons: he invented a light plant and lit a spotlight for each of hissiblings.
- With a vocation defined very early, González Camarenagraduated in 1939 from the Higher School of Mechanical and ElectricalEngineering of the National Polytechnic Institute, he recalled.
- González Camarena was the world creator of color television.In 1934 he made a television camera out of useless radio parts. "I dreamin black and white", they narrated that it said; and he believed that withthe invention of a color system the new television would improve.
