Storyboard Text

  • In my opinion, the French and Indian War is the first most important event leading to the American Revolution. Even though Britain won, because of the mass debt they were left with they put taxes on items such as tea and stamps for the colonists, which was the turning point for other events such as the Boston Tea Party and the Boston Massacre.
  • The second most important event leading to the American Revolution was the implemetaion of the Intolerable Acts. I think this beacuse it was the last straw that pushed the colonists to the point where they were ready to fight Britain for their independance.
  • The third most important event that lead to the American Revolution was the Boston Tea Party. This was the first major act of defiance to British rule by the colonists. It gave the colonists motivation to stand up for their rights and ulimately risk their lives by going to war for their independance.
