Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Rising Action
  • Climax
  • Most of this story takes place in the Klondike.  The main character of this story is Buck.  The main conflict is surviving in the harsh conditions of this area.
  • Falling Action
  • The main event in the rising action is when Buck and Spitz fight.  Buck wins this fight.  When Spitz dies Buck becomes the alpha dog of the pack.
  • Resolution
  • The climax of the story is when Buck kills the Native Americans.  He kills these people because they killed the only person that Buck truly felt love towards.  John Thornton was the one person that Buck wanted to be around all the time until Buck realized that he belonged in the wild.
  • Title and Author
  • The falling action of the story is when Buck fights the pack and becomes one with the pack.  This is also when he realizes that he wants to stay with this pack.
  • In my opinion the resolution of the story is when Buck finally realizes that he needs to be part of the wild.  I chose this scene because this when he joins the pack of wolves.
  •
  • The Call of the Wild By; Jack London
