Karl decided to join the football team so he could get in better shape and have fun while doing it. He gets as much running as he can while he is at practice. He also makes sure he avoids not drinking water so he doesn't get dehydrated.

Karls parents support his decision to play football and drive him home from practice every day and remind him to do his homework so he can avoid the stress of failing his classes.
