carbon cycle

Storyboard Text

  • the plant takes in carbon dioxide and release oxygen
  • photosynthesis- a process that both plants and other living organisms use to turn light energy into a chemical energy that is later used to fuel plant and organisms
  • carbon dioxide
  • oxygen
  • respiration
  • when a plant goes through photosynthesis it takes carbon dioxide and release oxygen into the air which then other living organisms such as animals breath in. This is called respiration
  • whenever an animal or plant dies it decomposes which means that bacteria and fungi break down the matter
  • when the organism decomposes it creates a fossil which can later on be used as a fossil fuel which is burned and releases carbon dioxide which restarts the cycle
