This storyboard does not have a description.
I'm a Kineiotherapist! My job is to develop and monitor exercise programs to help people regain muscle strength and function lost due to injury or disease. I have to know all about how each body part works so I can develop therapeutic exercises to help with each patient specific condition.
To become a Kineiotherapist, I had to graduate from an accredited kinesiotherapy program with a bachelor’s degree. I also had to take many anatomy and physiology courses. One thing required to be a Kineiotherapist that I could not learn in school is having a good attitude; I have to be intelligent and honest, practice good judgment and have good interpersonal skills.
Before I could become a Kineiotherapist, I had perform at least 1,000 hours of cinical work.
I started making a range of $36,000 to $47,000 a year. But now I make $60,000 to $90,000 a year, because I am a full time Kineiotherapist.
I work in many different enviorments: health care setting, fitness centers, colleges, and private offices. Sometimes I even have to work in pools, for water therapy.
