You must lead my people out of slavery. You must tell them I am who I am (YHWH) has sent you.
But what if they don't believe me? I'm not eloquent enough! I am slow of speech!
This is the power of our God! Now, let the Israelites go!
No! They work as my slaves!
Moses is tending to his sheep on Mount Horeb when he notices a burning bush that did not burn up.
Moses approaches the bush and God tells him to lead His people out of slavery.
Moses returns to Egypt to confront the Pharaoh with his brother, Aaron, and shows the power of God by turning his staff into a snake.
The two return, confronting the Pharaoh and each time it was declined, a plague occurred! (Boils, hail, frogs, Nile turning to blood.)
The final plague, Passover, occurs where the Israelites prevent their first-born male from being killed by smearing the blood of the lamb on their doors, making it known to the Angel of Death to pass their house.
The mass departure of the Israelites occur (Exodus) after being kicked out by the Pharaoh. They brought their animals, clothing, silver, and gold.
