Storyboard Text

  • I don't have to hunt all day anymore, I can follow my dreams and become a pottery maker.
  • I am so glad you guys started farming because if you didn't, I wouldn't have been able to become a professtional napper and netflix watcher.
  • Wait, who are you? And how did you get here?
  • Wait, who are you? And how did you get here?
  • Oh, hi my name is Tommy. Long story short, don't sneek into your parents top secret labratory and climb into this weird looking circle, and start pressing buttons.
  • Oh, hi my name is Tommy. Long story short, don't sneek into your parents top secret labratory and climb into this weird looking circle, and start pressing buttons.
  • Hey, I think a stone necklace would look great with your outfit. What color do you want?
  • How about blue to match my dreamy eyes. And, to all the ladies out there, I am single. Anyway, time to figure out how to get back home. Bye!!
  • When humans were hunter-gathers, all they ever did was hunt and gather. So when they started farming, humans got to focus and work on other skills.
  • The next Day...........
  • Working on different skills allowed the humans to improve the ways they worked. For example, a person who focused on farming was able to develop their farming skills and be able to grow even more plants than before.
  • Trading is so awesome! It is much more efficient than having to look high and low for something. Speaking of which, I need some more bear fur. Can you go down to the town center to go get me some?
  • Sure dear, anything you say.
  • Ugh!
  • Humans didn't always just want to survive. Having specialized jobs als let them decorate  their pottery, make jewelry, and more!
  • Oh, and I need you to tell Janet that I can't go to her house because all the donkeys are booked. Thanks!
  • No problem!
  • Yes problem!!
  • Another benefit from farming was being able to trade.
  • People traded things they had too much of or too little. Flint and obsidian were common things that traders  looked for.
  • Trading not only got people the things people wanted and needed, but it kept them in contact with other people from distant places. It helped spread knowledge throughout the ancient world.
  • I am going to start heading toward the town center before the muggers come. Bye!!
