  • The Stamp Act of 1765
  • Then I'm not going to buy newspaper ever again. Bye
  • You must buy stamped paper if you want to buy newspaper.
  • I dislike the British and all of their laws without our say.
  • The Quartering Act of 1765
  • We get to live her and you have to take care of us.
  • There were many events from 1763 to 1775 that lead to the Revolutionary War.
  • The Boston Massacre of 1770
  • The Stamps Act taxed diplomas, playing cards, legal documents, and newspaper. Some people would boycott by not buying paper.
  • Lexington and Concord (1774)
  • The Quartering Act was one of the first acts by the British. this made the colonists mad because the soldiers did nothing and they cost just as much as having a tax.
  • The End
  • The British soldiers fired into a crowd for self defense after having stones thrown at them.

  • The British tried to steal the colonists guns, but then the Minuteman held them off and had the British retreating.
  • As you saw there were many events that made the colonists so mad that the had to become independent.
