Gastby asks Nick and Daisy to both come over to show them around. They go through the front gate and Daisy thinks it looks wonderful.
They go inside and Gatsby shows her his clothes he gets sent from Europe. He starts throwing them in a pile on the bed, and Daisy cries because she is sad about her missed opportunity with Gatsby.
Later they go to a big hall in Gatsby's house and dance. Gatsby and Daisy act very comfortable together-like they are in love. Nick sneaks out without them noticing because they are so focused on one another.
Daisy you need to leave Tom.
Gatsby is having one of his parties, but this time Daisy also attends, but Tom comes with her.
Tom and Gatsby are really awkward with each other-we get the idea that Tom is suspicious of Gatsby (he also says he will find out how he got his money, and makes fun of people with "new" bootlegging money).
We see Tom and Daisy sneak down the path that goes to Nick's house and Gatsby wants Daisy to leave Tom, and leave with him. She doesn't indicate she wants to do that.
