  • Mexico Welcomes a Large Number of Anglo- Americans 
  • From here now on, Mexico shall be its on INDEPENDENT territory.
  • 1835 New Dictator of Mexico
  • I am here by now the dictator, of Mexico!! Disarm as many Texans as possible,
  • Battle of Gonzales 
  • The Mexicans welcomes a large number of Anglo-American immigrants, and instead of being a loyal Mexican citizen, they still spoke for the English.The Mexicans were able to do this because they earned independence by Spain
  •           Battle of Alamo
  • We know your in there Texans!! We will get you!!
  • Antonio Lopez De Santa Anna, was the new dictator of the Mexicans. Antonio threw over the constitution and appointed himself dictator.When doing so, he sent the Mexican Army to disarm the Texans whenever possible.
  • Battle of San Jacinto
  • "Remember the Alamo"
  • The Battle of Gonzales, started when the Texans lined up for war, and they both fired. Soon after, a Mexican troop was wounded, soon after the Mexicans withdrew to San Antonio.
  • Texas Statehood
  •  Here to this day Texas, is now  a slave state into the union,
  • Texas,was trying to win their independence, a group of Texas soldiers meanwhile occupied the Alamo. Mexicans eventually seized the Texans in the Alamo, the Texans stood for 13 days but Mexicans over powered greatly.
  • Sam Houston and 800 other Texans soldiers on April 21, 1836, led the fort of San Jacinto and defeated the over 1500 Mexican men. As they attacked the Mexicans shouted "Remember the Alamo!"  Doing this the Texans closed the battle for independence and liberty.
  • The Texas state was delayed in the ability to become a state. The Texans would not be able to join the union as a slave state, but in 1845 President John Tyler accepted Texas into the Union as a slave state.
