  • The children pressed to each other like so many roses, so may weeds, intermixed, peering our for a look at the hidden sun.
  • It had been raining for 7 years; thousands upon thousands of days compounded and filled from one end to another with rain.
  • "I think the sun is like a flower, That blooms for just one hour" "You didn't write that?!" "I did! i did!" "William" called the teacher. Margot was bullied for believing in the sun. No one believed her tho. Margot was frail and alone. She had no power when the teacher was gone. People thought she was different and she started to belive it to.

  • "Nothing!" William cired. The others understood and started to join and and laughing. "B.B.But the scientist said." "Well they were wrong" They picked her up and shoved her in the closet in the tunnel. Locked.
  • Solemn and pale the kids walked inro the corridor. They're faces filled with ashament and distress. "Go on." whispered the girl. William slowly opened the door and let Margot out.

  • The rain stopped. The world groun to a standtill. The sun came out. The children ran our into the sun playing for hours. "Its so much better then the heat lamps!" They put their hands up to the warm glow and felt it burn their skin
  • "Oh look, look." Trembling the girl helfd out her hand with a fat raindrop cupped there. They looked up to feel rain fall onto them. Filled with sadness they went back inside. "MARGOT!"
