  • we should Show two lanthorns in the North Church steeple
  • Lets stop her and rest Mr.Dawes
  • "We should show two lanthorns [lanterns] in the North Church steeple" This sentence is similar because in both "Paul Revers Ride" and the deposition the both quote "Hang a lantern aloft in the belfry arch of the north church Tower as a signal. and in the Deposition it says " We should show two lanthorns [lanterns] in the North Church steeple.
  • there will be five hundred americans there in a short time
  • Paul Revere going to Medford is similar in both the poem and Deposition because in the Deposition it states "I got clear of him, and went over Medford over the bridge." in the poem it states "It was twelve by the village clock when he crossed the bridge into Medford town."
  • Don't run
  • "After I had been there about half an hour, Mr. Draws came; we refreshed ourselves." This is different because in the poem it never mentioned hdhe was with someone on the ride. Also ididnt mention he stopped on during the ride the only time he did stop was after the ride which says "And one was safe and asleep in his bed."
  • stop
  • "I told him and added tat their troops had catcher aground in passing the river." This is a difference cause in the poem it never stated that the red coats caught him it only states that he got to concord. In the deposition it states that he got caught. In the poem it says It was two by the village clock when he came to the bridge in Concord town."
  • "Major Mitchel of the 5th Regiment clapped his pistol to my head." this is a difference because in the poem it dosent mention that he got stopped.
  • When Paul Revere was about 100 yards from the meeting house British troops appeared on both sides." This is similar because In the poem it mentioned "How British Regulars fired and fled,--- How the farmers gave them ball for ball."
