  • Rising Action 2
  • Linda stands over her dead husband, who she shot in the chest. She calls the police and reports the murder. The police ask her to come in to the station and report it.
  • Climax
  • “Well, I guess I won’t have to like her anymore,”
  • On her way to the police station, Linda sees Sarah. Sarah tells Linda that she needs the support at the police station and she gets in the car with Linda.
  • Falling Action
  • At the police station, Linda answers questions from the police officer.  The officer informs her that since she has a red card, the murder is clean and she should have no problems.
  • Resolution
  • As she walks toward the lobby, Linda hears her friend Sarah say, “Well, I guess I won’t have to like her anymore,” but she puts on a poker face and pretends not to hear.
  • Ha Ha Ha
  • Sarah and Linda go back to Linda's house. Linda asks Sarah if she can stay with her for awhile. Sarah goes on to tell Linda how she can fix her life, looks,  and her problems.
  • Linda goes to her room to change and she cries. She reaches under her bed and pulls out a small wrapped box. She opens the box and reveals a small red card and a revolver.
