  • Creon punishes Antigone for burying her brother
  • Peripeteia
  • "Surely a God has crushed me beneath the hugest weight of heaven" (Exodus.102-103)
  • Creon thinks he has more power than the Gods and underestimates Antigone's bravery and leadership in Thebes.
