Let me guess, its light dependent and independent reaction.
This flower is going through two different chemical processes.
Wow you do know, but do you know how it works?
No I don't know but can you tell me?
light dependent variable
light independent variable
That is a lot of big words that I do not understand.
I will explain them to you.
To start, photosynthesis is the chemical reaction that happens when light hits the chloroplast and creates ATP. The chloroplast is the organelle that houses the light dependent chemical reaction. ATP is the product of the light dependent chemical reaction, it fuels the independent light reaction. A light dependent reaction is a reaction that does not need sun light to happen.
Well thanks! Bye
The Thylakoid is a part of the chloroplast and does all of the real work by taking sunlight and water and making ATP with help from the chlorophyll. The chlorophyll is the part of the chloroplast that holds the Thylakoid in place, it also gives the chloroplast its green color. For the light independent part the calvin cycle does all of the heavy lifting with help from ATP and carbon dioxide, this creates glucose for the cell to use. The Calvin Cycle happens in the Stoma, the stroma is a gooy substance .
