Storyboard Description

This one is about how learning to read signs was a benefit to driving

Storyboard Text

  • Boy do I remember never understanding what those signs meant...
  • Did you ever go on car rides where you felt forced to read every sign to avoid awkward conversation with your parents?
  • Hopefully I understand those signs before I start driving or I am screwed.
  • Oh yeah. I will never forget being so lost. I never understood those signs until I started driving and had to read them.
  • Anna, now an adult, reminiscences on the times where she did not understand the signs at all because she did not know how to properly read them .
  • Actually...
  • Wow. I've never really thought about how the ability to read a sign can effect daily life...
  • Anna is inspired to learn how to read the signs so she can travel to the right place when she gets her license.
  • Now that I think about it, if I weren't able to read those signs, I probably would not have been able to make it to school, or anywhere for that matter.
  • Anna was not embarrassed of her inability to read those signs. When she finally learned how to read the signs, she became the GPS of family car rides.
  • I guess I never thought about reading being in places other than a book.
  • Anna begins to think about how grateful she is to have learned those signs.
  • If Anna had never learned how to read the signs, she may never have made it to places on time, and probably would have gotten lost.
  • Reading is found everywhere. Anna is grateful she learned to read in different forms such as signs.
