  • Act One- John Proctor-  mischievous

  • Act one- John Proctor- Arrogant
  • "he had no right to sell it. it stands clear in my grandfather's will that all the land between the river and--"
  • "Your grandfather had a habit of willing land that never belonged to him, if i may say it plain"
  • Act three- John Proctor- sarcastic and fury
  • you are charging Abigail Williams with a marvelous cool plot to murder
  • Excellency, she were under Tituba's power at that time
  • there  also might be a dragon with five legs in my house, but no one has ever seen it.
  • John Proctor shows a mischievous side of him by sensing that Abigail is uncomfortable and purposefully making her kinda skiddish
  • Act three- John Proctor- sincerity

  • In this quote John Proctor is showing that when he is angry he is sarcastic to prove a point

  • John proctor confessed to being a lecher and was thrown in jail
  • John Proctor told Elizabeth that she basically didn't have enough guts to do what he had to do
  • Would you give them such a lie? Say it. would you ever give them this? you would not; if tongs of fire were singeing you you would not! it is evil. good, then-- it is evil, and i do it!
